Gateway Reader Award

Each year fifteen books are nominated by Missouri school librarians as representing the best teen literature for that year. In March, all Missouri high school students, grades 9-12, who have read at least three of the nominated books, may vote for their favorite book. Voting is coordinated through each school’s library. The award winner is announced in April during the Missouri school librarians’ conference. Students are welcome to participate in this program.
